This is where all the “oohs” and “ahhs” will be. Apart from transparent overlays, our children will use “torchlight” to explore inside the human body and discover insects and animals living underground. This series is my girls’ absolute favorite. I can see their eyes light up with excitement when they make a discovery!
Torchlight – Insects
My children are always curious about how insects live beneath the soil. “Insects” is the ideal book to unveil the hidden homes of insects, ranging from ants to bees. It also reveals the various roles of ants within their colonies. Observe a bee’s growth, from an egg to a fully developed adult bee!
Torchlight – Animals Underground
Explore the hidden world beneath the surface and encounter various animals that call it home. Have you ever come across a Kingfisher’s nest? This remarkable bird leads a life that encompasses the air, underground, and water!
Torchlight – Inside the Body
This is another one of my favorite books. This book provides an X-ray of our bodies and watch the growth of a baby!
Torchlight – Life Below the City
Let’s take our kids on an underground journey to reveal how pipes and cables deliver gas, water, and electricity to our homes!
Torchlight – Arcimboldo’s Portraits
Giuseppe Arcimboldo is renowned for creating portraits using various objects such as fruits, vegetables, flowers, fish, and books. In this book, children can discover hidden objects using the “torchlight”. What I also love about this book is that it can also be served as an inspiration for our children to craft their own portraits using vegetables and fruits!
